The power of a true mastermind is created by the organised effort produced through the coordination of effort of 2 or more people. Who work towards a definite end in a spirit of harmony. Even before Napoleon Hill made the concept popular, Andrew Carnegie attributed his entire fortune to the power, he accumulated through his mastermind.
Power in this instance may be defined as organised and intelligently directed knowledge.
When talking about accumulated experience in the concept of the Mastermind group. The group will have more power and knowledge than any individual can ever have, even if that individual is a polymath.
The difficulty an individual would have if it depended upon their efforts in gathering knowledge and expressing it through plans into action, will be a far harder route than if they access the combined minds, intelligence and knowledge of a mastermind group.
Who are the Members?
Discrimination in the selection of your mastermind group is imperative. When you have the right combination of knowledge within a mastermind group, those that stretch you, challenge you and have greater or different knowledge than you within a subject matter.
You have untold potential within the power of the group. Advantages may be created by any person for any person who surrounds themselves with the advice, counsel and personal cooperation of people who are willing to lend wholehearted support, which is the basis of a mastermind group
Mastermind groups that work together without competition within the group achieve unparalleled results
No 2 minds ever came together without thereby creating a 3rd invisible, intangible force which may be likened to a 3rd mind. Imagine that with 3, 4 or 5 minds together. How powerful that 6th mind would be.
It is well known that a group of electric batteries will provide more energy than a single battery.
Brains function similarly, so a group of brains coordinated in the spirit of harmony will provide more thought energy than a single brain, just as a group of batteries provide more energy than a single battery.
Examples of alternative mind combinations are fiction and non-fiction!
Suppose you take this analogy into Star Trek. The Borg had a combined brain as did The Tree of Souls in Avatar.
The concept of social media and Facebook groups/forums also works with a Mastermind concept.
You have a question, you pose it to a forum, and if the forum is active and intelligent, you will have a response within only a few moments.
Group
If you take that concept into a small group of like-minded people, a Mastermind group that are selected with the same end in mind and with the same aim the results can be fabulous.

Action
You can have a mastermind group with all its power and intelligence; it will be of no use if action is not taken!
Changes are usually brought about through well-conceived and carefully executed plans along with accountability.
These things can be achieved through an active and focused Mastermind group.
Masterminds are a great way to learn and earn, and I can highly recommend them. They can be free or paid, whichever choice you make, they work when well-structured and managed; otherwise, they can become just a ‘chat shop’

- How can you become part of a group?
- How can you set your own up?
- Who do you want in it?
Remember you need a mix of:
- People who have different knowledge and skill sets to you even if they are all concerned with the same subject or
- A mix of different Businesses that complement each other or
- People at the same level to support each other, or
- People at different levels to challenge each other.
